Indications for use
Tonocard is prescribed for all types of productive and non-productive animals with multi-organ insufficiency in the following cases:
- Intensive therapy for critical conditions (shock).
- Treatment of various diseases associated with suppression of respiratory, cardiovascular, and hepato-renal functions.
- Acute and chronic intoxication, including infectious diseases accompanied by fever.

By stabilizing hormonal levels and energy metabolism, it is effective in metabolic disorders and for activating overall body resistance, aiming to reduce recovery time after illness, difficult births, hyperreactivity, stress impacts, etc. It is used for premedication and in the post-anesthesia period.
Application procedure
Tonocard is administered to animals intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously. It is injected slowly in the following doses:
- Cattle and horses – 5 ml per 100 kg of body weight.
- Foals and calves – 3 ml per 30 kg of body weight.
- Pigs, sheep, goats – 3 ml per 30 kg of body weight.
- Dogs, cats – 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight.
- Decorative rabbits, ferrets – 0.5 ml per 5 kg of body weight.
The medication is non-toxic. In cases of very acute and acute disease progression, the medication may be administered 2-3 times a day. Daily use is allowed until the animal fully recovers. The duration of the treatment course depends on the condition of the animal and is determined by the attending veterinary doctor.
